Community Connectivity

We hold space for our collective cultural transformation through community events featuring performance art, song, skill building, and connection with nature. These gatherings are a space to offer our voices for healing individual and cultural wounding and awakening concious wholeness.

2025 Wheel of the Year Gatherings

equinox 2024 beltane altar and fire 2024 summer solstice 2024

The Wheel of the Year is a synthesis of multiple traditions, including Celtic, Norse, and Germanic practices, as well as influences from ancient agricultural societies. While we honor these historical roots, we do not claim to be a direct continuation of any single ancient tradition. Acknowledging life and nature's sanctity, nuance and complexity, we come together in direct and conscious connection with land, seasons, and cycles.
Join us every 6 weeks to celebrate the seasonal cycling with food, song, and ceremony!

Why Sing?
In addition to fast-tracking social bonding by building connection and a sense of togetherness, singing also has major health benefits. Singing is shown to enhance memory, concentration, and mental alertness and is being brought into dementia care. It improves lung capacity and breathing conditions- like snoring and long covid effects. Singing improves mental and physical health and self-confidence by releasing endorphins, serotonin and dopamine into the body which also lowers stress levels. It even acts as a mild aerobic activity by introducing more oxygen into the blood and increasing the body's circulation. Also, people who sing are shown to have higher levels of immunoglobulin A which is an antibody that helps the body fend off infections- thus increasing the body's immune system.
So we sing because it feels good and it's good for us!

Theatre

Cedar in the Woods

ToC in the Woods is an independent community theatre endeavor to bring theatre experiences
to people of all ages.

searching for gestalt interlocutors june 2022

Revived for an original production of Searching For Gestalt in 2022 after a 9yr hiatus, ToC in the Wood is now a fledgling rebirth of the original Theatre~on~Cedar. OG ToC ran for 6+ years and produced 13 full length free by donation, plays in a neighborhood back yard on Cedar Street in Carrollton, GA. It was a successful and inspiring artistic space but life changes, marriages, babies, moves, and more halted ToC in 2013, until the revival by old and new Playas of the beloved theatre troupe in 2022.
ToC's stuff was moved to Full Life Farm and a woodland stage was built using cedar planks to keep with the remembered name.
The stage has since been used for original theatrical performances, Wheel of the Year events, Roots of Life Youth Theatre Camps, and more.
