Birth Preparation Sessions Terra works in the Birthing from Within tradition and helps birthing people gather
pain coping and decision-making tools as they prepare for labor and the journey of parenting. Each two hour session may be virtual or in-person, depending
on needs and circumstances and gennerally includes:
- Pain coping- Practice techniques with your birth partner to build a pain coping mindset for labor.
- Laborynth: Learn to use the labyrinth as a metaphorical map for labor and delivery. The labyrinth offers a way to explore the unexpected twists and turns of
birth. There's no right or wrong way to birth!

Birth Art- Birth art activities can offer unexpected insights that may transform the way you look at and experience birth.
They are about the process, not the product, and they can be fun too!
Parent & Baby Blessing Ceremonies Think of this as a community gathering in sacred acknowledgement of your journey into parenthood- similar to a baby shower without the materialism. Terra can help you develop a vision for your ceremony and will facilitate and host for you, your family, your community.
Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum Support Terra joins you in the early stages of labor and stays through the first few hours after your baby is born.
She adapts to you and your family's needs and offers:
- Direct physical support, massage, and breath work
- Help navigating the stages of labor
- Advocacy and help with navigating the medical system
- Support and engagement of partners and families, including children if present
- Flexible postpartum/lactation support based on individual and family needs
- Adaptive and responsive assessment of needs during labor and postpartum visits
DIY placenta encapsulation: Supporting you and/or your birth partner in obtaining and processing your own placenta for dehydration and encapsulation.
Birth Packages & Rates::
- Birth Preparation sessions or postpartum support options- $50 per 2hr session, $185 for 4 sessions, and $270 for 6-sessions.
- Doula Support- $800 for clients in Carroll County and $1100 for locations up to 60 miles from Carrollton, GA.
Doula packages include three prenatal or postpartum visits (with at least one of these in-person at your home) and support through labor and delivery.
- Payment plans and sliding scale options are available. Cash payments preferred. Online payments subject to additional fee.
Sliding scale: If you can pay more, this enables someone else with more limited resources to recieve birth doula support.
